It rained today–a good thing as the ground needed water desperately.
But last Friday the sun was bright; there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. It was a perfect summer day… in early May. My husband and I took a “mini-date” while our son attended a youth program he enjoys. Although the thought of dinner out sounded nice, we instead took a walk around from the College of St. Rose to Washington Park in Albany.
Of course, I brought my camera. Being one week from Albany’s annual Tulip Festival, the flowers were close to their peak color (I’m not sure why things are scheduled the way they are, but the flowers always seem to be fading by the actual festival).
The tulips certainly were grand, but the walk was grand for so many more reasons… I hope you agree.
I love your style! My very favorite is the Bridge over clear water. These are beautiful.

Thank you, Sherri. It’s a learning process, but I’m getting more and more experience with “catching that moment”. 😀
