Friday Photo — Last Friday

Not a Painting

Not a Painting

It’s been an odd week here.  I haven’t been feeling on the top of my game, which makes it really hard to be inspired to edit photos.  One problem with shooting things RAW is that everything needs some degree of editing.  I like the effect better of my editing (most of the time), but when one isn’t feeling well, it becomes that “one more thing”.

When I’m fighting migraines and other ick, I don’t need one more thing to deal with.  But the pictures are here waiting to be processed…

I did some today, all from my outings last Friday.  It’s rainy here at the moment, so I’ve been content to follow my body’s demand to stay inside and be cozy.

  1. Trial and error is what photography is all about! And I have a hard time cringing looking at old photos of mine too, but think of it like this… if you’re cringing and running from what you used to produce with a camera that means you are improving as a photographer!

    • You’re so right… not that I normally think of my photography that way, but yeah. (Oddly I think of my writing that way–I guess it’s because I’ve done writing longer.)

Thank you for your kind and reassuring words. Have a lovely week.

The wagon shot is my favourite. Keep pushing through those migraines Eden. Sometimes the distraction of doing something else helps. Know exactly where you’re coming from.

    • Pushing through the migraines does seem to be the best way to deal with them–it doesn’t end all the difficulties, but it helps. And thank you for your kind words on my photos. I like the wagon a lot too.
